Kenzie’s Gift supports the mental health of tamariki, mātātahi and whānau affected by serious illness or grief. The charity was founded by Nic Russell - a determined force of nature in her own right - in memory of her daughter Kenzie. Nic's 'wee poppet' died at the age of two and a half from complications related to her cancer diagnosis while Nic herself was in treatment for breast cancer. A truly incredible story of resilience and enduring love overcoming the most horrific of circumstances. I'm honoured to support them and the crucial work they do.
